Fall Festivals- don't you love them?

Fall and the ultimate festival - Circleville Pumpkin Festival. Whatever you can think of to eat, imagine it made with pumpkin- burgers, pies, candy, waffles, ice cream -- get the picture?

The displays of pumpkins and gourds were beautiful.
This small pumpkin weighed in at 1,150 lbs. And it was not the largest!
That one was over 2,000 lbs- imagine trying to get that loaded on a truck.

No picture - I was not able to get close enough to see it-- as you can tell, it was a gorgeous day in central Ohio and 1/2 of Ohio was in Circleville.

Yes, these heads are reall pumpkins- now how did they do that?



Worlds largest pumpkin pie and for real, the hogs have a real treat when the festival is over.

This artist has painted murals on the old buildings in many of our Ohio towns.

Even the local pets get in the fall festival mood!

Targett Orphan Fall Cookout

Had a wonderful cookout and hayride at the Targett home last evening. Enjoyed great food, great company and fun with the furry friends.

Our First Vacation with Cam

We took our first vacation with Cameryn at Jellystone Park in Western New York

Yogi Bear greated us with his infamous picnic basket.

Daily Swimming- good job Cam!
On movie night we watched a cartoon and Cam colored a hat

Nighly campfires and of course smore's and roasted bannanas with marshmallows and chocolate chips----yum!

Cameryn's Birthday Surprise

Cameryn received a surprise visit from BooBoo and Cindy Bear to help her celebrate her 6th birthday. They played games and of course we had several photo ops!

Jellystone Water Park and Water Fun!

Jellystone Park in Western New York, had the best water park!

Water cannons, water sprites,slides and a big gush of water every 5 minutes from the water tower-- a kids dream come true!

Finished out our mini trip with a train ride- Cam's first experience riding the rails

4th of July Parade in East Aurora

While waiting for the parade to start the girls were having a fun time with the camera!

East Aurora is home to Fisher Price- many of these "Big" Toys should look very familiar
