Vacation with the Girls - Day 3

Today was the day that the girls planted trees.  They each have a non-fruit bearing Cherry Tree.  It was quite the event in preparing to plant their trees with a lot of grandpa's help.  The task completed, now each time they come they can see how tall the trees have grown.  I have to say it is pure pleasure to look out on our massive back yard and now see trees!

And then Lilly was so proud to find worms, she was determined to bring them into the house!

Vacation with the Girls - Day 2

The Best Day Ever

We spent the entire day at the Beach Water Park with Uncle Bo, Shana, Sabin and Gage.  What a blast-- the pictures will tell it all!

  1. Cameryn on the "Longest" slide at the Beach--she was awesome!

The Lazy Miami was our favorite- we went 3 times!

Nature Coast Sunset

For those of you that remember the "Old Florida" may I invite you to take a look at the Nature Coast.  Homosassa, Crystal River-- take a step back to the Florida of old.  Yes, the beaches are free, pristine, clean and talk about the beauty of a west coast sunset- well, just take a look.  These shots were taken at Fort Island Trail park.

And the day setting is not so bad either!

Nature on Florida's Nature Coast

We had a friendly visitor on my second morning there.  Right in the front yard of my parents home was this large turtle.!

Lone Island Park had this little lizzard just sunning himself.

This crane had a plan-- not only was he not afraid of all the folks around he was--------------

Waiting for this fisherman to have a catch!  Everytime the pole was tossed back- the crane literally crained his neck to check out the line.......I dont think I have laughed that hard in a long time!

This heron was taking in the view along the road on a small bridge in Ozello

Guess I spooked him!
